Summer Clothing Haul

Hey guys!

So a few days ago I stocked up on some clothing for summer and took advantage of the crazyyyy sales going on right now. Here are a few of the things I bought!

Blue satin play-suit - Primark - £15.00

I' m absolutely in love with this play-suit. It has a pretty detail around the neck (even though it's not so obvious on the picture.. whoops) and the fabric is very comfortable and soft. Because it is satin however, it is quite shiny so I think it'd be perfect to wear in the evening rather than a day look.

White/cream textured T-shirt - New Look - on sale for £10.00

Although this shirt isn't particularly 'summery', I thought it'd be a good basic to add to any outfit.

Pastel Blue Lace Crop Top - New Look - £14.99

This top is perfect for summer. It's very light and floaty, making it great for hot, summer days.

Blue and White Running Shorts - Primark - £3.00

Now this is why I loooooveee Primark! These shorts are great for lounging about in (even if you are meant to 'run' in them) and so, so comfy, yet so, so cheap! They have a white stripe on each side also. These come in a ton of different colour variations.

Patterned Kimono - Topshop - £29.00

I've been searching for a kimono for months so was ecstatic to come across this find! The material is gorgeous, light and feels so nice against the skin. I will definitely be wearing this as much as I can!

Black Bikini - Topshop - Bikini top £13.00, bottoms £8.00

For some reason, I've found that buying a good bikini has been very difficult this season since I'm really pale and neon is HUGE this summer... not a good mix.
However, this basic bikini is just what I needed! The top is under-wired for support with a tie for the halterneck and the back. The bottom also has adjustable ties at the side so you can get a perfect fit.
I also thought that the pricing for this bikini was really good for topshop as it only costs £21 all together, when last year I found that the average bikini cost about £32 instead!

Sooooo... that's the end of this mini haul! Let me know if you've got any bargains this summer, and just ask if you want any extra details on any pieces of clothing!

L'Oreal Superliner Perfect Slim Black Intense Review

 Hello!

Ever since I grew an interest in make up, I've held a serious obsession with creating the perfect winged eyeliner look and dragged myself through many liquid eyeliners to enable me to achieve this. The most recent of these purchases was the 'L'Oreal Paris 'Superliner Perfect Slim Black Intense'.. pretty long name, huh?

This eyeliner is a 'felt tip' style, which I have always thought is the easiest to use when trying to be precise and extending/winging out eyeliner. The nib
of the pen is very, very small, meaning you can create very fine lines; therefore it is suitable for almost any eyeliner look as it is also very easy to build up into a thicker line. Due to the tiny nib, it results in a seriously precise application; it is super easy to use and produces a nice, smooth line.

The 'black intense' part of its name certainly lives up to expectations. On first stroke, it creates a pretty much opaque line and as suggested, an intense black colour.

As far as wear goes, I was again impressed. For me, the eyeliner lasts pretty much all day if I'm careful. I usually do not have to reapply, and only do so if the colour fades slightly so I can keep it looking dramatic.

However, the one issue I have had is that it's not very waterproof, and smudges quite easily if you touch your make up on the eye area. This means you have to be careful throughout the day for it to stay intact, but if you don't bother it, it sure will stay put!

In conclusion, I believe this is one of the best liquid eyeliners I have tried so far! It creates an almost effortless, smooth winged eyeliner look which can last all day! All of this for only £6.99, which is fab for the quality of this product.

Below are some up close pictures of me wearing the product.

Hello! Introducing 'sez-vie'...

Hi!

My name is Sarah Gerrard. I'm a 16 year old from a little town in Yorkshire, England, called Holmfirth.

I'd label myself as yet ANOTHER beauty, fashion and all things life enthusiast. Of course I've read similar blogs throughout my teenage life with much admiration, and seeing as though it is something I express a huuuugeee interest in, I thought 'why not start one myself!?'.

So, seeing as though I spend the majority of my free time shopping and trying out new products, I thought I'd set up this blog to share my tips and tricks with the internet! I may also post clothing hauls/look books and life advice, so hopefully there will be a variety of content.

Hopefully you'll find my posts interesting and useful, and don't hesitate to ask questions :-)

Thank you for reading!
